Encounter 09 News

Christmas is upon us and many more of you have already registered for Encounter 09 (www.iamencounter.com) and taken advantage of the early bird discount which only lasts until JANUARY 1, 2009!!

And, since our membership program is currently being revamped, everyone can take advantage of the early bird sponsored price of $219 without adding on the old $40 membership fee.  So, if you register soon, you'll actually be paying less than you did last year for the Encounter!

Here's the Encounter News Round-Up:

• Applications for the Juried Competitions have been posted on www.iamencounter.com. The due dates for applications have been postponed until late January, so there's plenty of time to submit.

• Session Topics have been posted on www.iamencounter.com. Keep a watch on the site for more details about them as well as more topics in the near future.

• New IAM podcasts can be found at www.internationalartsmovement.org/podcasts. See the sidebar below for the podcasts we've already published and what's coming up soon.

• If you are interested in forming a group to come to Encounter 09, we've posted the registration form on www.iamencounter.com. For groups of 7 or more, each person registered will save $20 off of their registration fee, whether student or sponsored - even off the early bird price. 

And, if you're still not sure what to request for Christmas this year (or not sure what to give the artist friend in your life), there's still time - though not much - to consider requesting - or giving - a registration to Encounter 09.
