Deanna Witkowski on NPR

Jazz pianist/composer/vocalist Deanna Witkowski recently presented a program which combined spoken historical background and live musical performance in an evening devoted to the sacred jazz works of both Witkowski and Mary Lou Williams.

Deanna will talk about her new sacred jazz release, "From This Place," with host Liane Hansen on National Public Radio's "Weekend Edition Sunday." Starting at noon on Sunday, the interview will be permanently archived online at deannajazz.com and nprmusic.org (this means that you'll be able to listen at any time!!!).
