Whether you came to our packed screening of Women in Warzones or just read about it online, we encourage you to not let the stories Helene and Bijoux to stop with a documentary screening.  Take action and get involved with putting an end to injustice against women.  Here are a few simple ways you can get involved:

Stay connected!
-The film's new website (womeninwarzones.org) will be up next month!  It will have a space to learn more about conflict in the DR Congo, additional video content that didn't make the final cut of the documentary, slideshows of award-winning photography of the women, info about upcoming events, a forum providing ideas on different ways to Take Action, links to other groups making a difference in Congo, a social networking portal where members can connect and organize ideas, and more.

-make sure we stay connected to you! If you didn't leave you email on the mailing list, send us an e-mail saying where you met us and that you'd like to be added to the list- don't worry we won't bombard your inbox with constant e-mailing!
-join our facebook group

-tell us your ideas!  We want to hear from you.
-talk to universities, organizations, religious groups, venues that you or people you know are connected with

-ask to see if they'd like to sponsor a screening or gallery event

-connect them with us at womeninwarzones@gmail.com

-share the project with your friends and coworkers.  See if they have any interest in setting up or attending an event.
-we're raising money for our literacy aid program
-two libraries, one for medical and counseling staff and one for patients
-classroom instruction and private tutoring opportunity for patients of Panzi Hospital
-to donate please go to womeninwarzones.org/donate

Thank you again for coming to our screening of Women In War Zones.  We look forward to partnering with you in the fight against sexual violence in eastern Congo.

Sincerely,

Scott Blanding and the Women in War Zones Team
