The Kansas Arts Commission is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Governor's Arts Awards. Each year the Governor of Kansas and the Kansas Arts Commission honor artists, organizations, businesses, schools, communities and arts supporters who have made outstanding arts and cultural contributions to Kansas and the nation. Awardees are nominated by members of the public, selected by a panel and honored at a reception and ceremony in spring 2011 in Topeka.

NEW: Governor's Arts Awards Nomination Workshops

The Kansas Arts Commission will hold two telephone information workshops to help guide you through the nomination process.

Monday, August 2, 2:00 - 3:00 pm OR Tuesday, August 3, 10:00 - 11:00 am.
