WHAT: NYC 2 NOLA 3.5- after the storm. A new perspective.WHEN: April 24-26, 2009
WHERE: 933 Broadway

Click here to read Angel's Open Letter about her exhibition.
We are pleased to present Angel Brynner's third solo exhibition entitled 'NYC 2 NOLA 3.5 - After the Storm. The exhibit explores the disparity between what people outside of New Orleans were visually told about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and what it, as a recovering city, looked like firsthand to the artist while volunteering painting houses during the summer of 2008 alongside American Peace Corps team members.
Comprised primarily of collages and blog excerpts, the event hopes to be a springboard for discussion in New York about redevelopment in New Orleans. It also hopes to galvanize the community best known for revitalizing areas around the world...Artists of every discipline, and the people who love them.
The show will take place at 933 Broadway, courtesy of Thor Equities. On Friday, April 24, a cocktail event will be held (please RSVP to email listed below). The exhibition will be open to the public that Saturday and Sunday. To RSVP and for more information, contact nyc2nola3.5@gmail.com
