The King's College Announces 2009-2010 Distinguished Visitor Series

Leading Writers, Activists, Musicians, and Artists a Part of The King's College Plan to Become a Center For Christian Thought in the Heart of New York City

NEW YORK CITY--The King's College plans to have 29 political, economic, and cultural leaders on its Empire State Building campus this fall as part of its 2009-2010 Distinguished Visitor Series.

"The King's College is becoming a place where Christian leaders and others come to explore new concepts," said Dr. Marvin Olasky, the provost of The King's College.  "The 2009-2010 Distinguished Visitor Series uses our great location to expose our students to great ideas."

Olasky, who is also the editor-in-chief of WORLD magazine, will interview guests and then invite student questions. Responses by distinguished visitors become the basis for a magazine article that allows them to reach not only students but WORLD's 400,000 readers as well. Olasky said that the students' ability to see the entire process - from "event to print" - provides an extra learning dimension.
