Discussion Group

Kettle & Cork 

Because some ideas require time to age, while others are best served hot.

Every Wednesday, from 8-8:45 AM at Cafe Cubano, we meet to discuss relevant articles that somehow address the significance of human creativity. That’s a lot of lingo to digest. Basically, we meet together to think and respond together to stuff that’s challenging.

We email the articles to attendees the week prior. To get on the list, please send an email to Maureen Lovett at artsdirector [at] newcityarts.org

Printing the article out always helps. Read it ahead of time, and bring it in your bag for our morning discussion. Newcomers welcome!

Cubano is located on the downtown mall (112 W Main St). You can find us at the table reserved for New City Arts in the back. Street parking usually abounds at 8 AM, but you’re also welcome to walk, bike, take the bus, or ride the trolley. If you plan on ordering breakfast (and not just your morning dose of caffeine), we suggest arriving a little before 8 AM.
