There are several ways to connect with others wrestling with the deep questions of art, faith, and humanity in the Emerald City.

Seattle Art & Coffee Group meets bi-weekly for discussions centered on topics, articles, and one anothers' work. Click here to connect on Facebook

There are visual artists' salons that meet periodically to share work and offer peer critique. If you are a practicing visual artist and would like to be included in a future salon, please contact us for more info.

Image Journal has a robust web site offering excellent articles and resources from the intersection of art, faith, and humanity. There is also an online writers' workshop, The Glen Online, which is a great way for writers to grow through critique and mentorship. Image Journal's office is on the campus of Seattle Pacific University, but the events it produces take place all over the country and even internationally. Visit their site for more info.

The Kindlings
is a movement inspired by C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles Williams, Dorothy Sayers and a diverse group of gadflies and friends called “The Inklings,” who met in an Oxford pub each week for lively conversation and friendly disputation. They think such discourse should be intelligent, imaginative and hospitable. The Kindlings Muse, Kindlingsfest, and Hearth events, which take place in Seattle and other cities in the US and UK, are all aimed at rekindling the spiritual, intellectual and creative legacy of Christians in culture.
