U.S. Military

Prior to 9/11/01, Ron was an art student and intern with Makoto Fujimura in New York City. In Summer 2009, Ron returned from a year-long deployment in Iraq, and is now working with the military community to offer the power of beauty through art to help soldiers and their families deal with the effects of recent conflicts and deployments.
In August 2009, many artists from throughout the IAM community contributed to the first Reflections of Generosity exhibition on the Ft. Drum Army Base in upstate New York. The show's next stop is Illesheim, Germany, which will conclude with a remembrance ceremony on September 11, 2010.
If you are an artist interested in being considered for future Reflections of Generosity exhibitions, or if you are part of the military community and would like more information, please contact Sgt. Ron V. Kelsey, Non-Profit Artist/Military Liaison for the Arts.
