In this episode, Christy speaks with renaissance woman Carey Wallace, whose debut novel, The Blind Contessa's New Machine, has just been released in paperback, along with the five-song EP Songs About Books, featuring original songs inspired by some of Wallace's favorite literature. Wallace is also the co-founder of The Hillbilly Underground, an artists' retreat in Michigan, and the Working Artists Initiative, a program of International Arts Movement aimed at helping artists develop better work habits.
